With 90 days to go until start of the 2019 Nova Scotia Under-18 Boys Championship, the Nova Scotia Curling Association (NSCA), is thrilled to announce that, as the defending National Champions, we will be sending two teams to the 2019 Canadian Under-18 Boys Championship in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
The two teams that qualify for the final of the event on March 11th will automatically advance to the National Championship, with the winner getting to wear the Nova Scotia crest on their backs. “This is not only great news to send two teams to defend our Championship, but it also great opportunity to expose an additional team to a level of development that can only be attained by participating in a National event”, says Andrew Paris, Technical Director and Provincial Coach with the Nova Scotia Curling Association.
The road to defend our Under-18 National Championships begins on March 8 at the Truro Curling Club. To register for the girls’ event, click here. To register for the boys’ event, click here.
