The Manuel rink out of Mayflower Curling Club captured the 2018 AMJ Campbell Under 21 Men’s Championship on the weekend. This is the fourth title in a row for skip Matt Manuel, second Nick Zackernuk, lead Alec Cameron, coach Stu Cameron and second in a row for third Adam Cocks.
The team needed to be beaten twice on the final day but won the championship after the first game posting a 7-3 victory over Team Graeme Weagle – Chester CC. They posted a 7-1 record overall en route to the championship.
The Manuel team now advances to represent Nova Scotia at the 2018 Canadian Junior (Under-21) Men’s Curling Championship in Shawinigan, Que., being held Jan. 13-21.
