Arsenault advances to meet Brothers in the 2019 Nova Scotia Scotties Final while Stuart Thompson will face Murphy in the 2019 Deloitte Tankard Final.
In this morning’s tiebreakers, Team MacDiarmid (Lakeshore) stole three in the eighth and two more in the ninth to defeat Team Jones (Mayflower) by a score of 11-5. Team Arsenault (Dartmouth) took the lead for good in the eighth end for a 7-5 victory versus Team Hilliard (Dartmouth). In the Scotties semi-final, it was a tight back and forth game. In the end Arsenault edged out MacDiarmid by a score of 8-6.
The Deloitte Tankard semi-final took place earlier this evening. It was a well played game and close throughout. Team Stuart Thompson scored two in in the seventh and held on for a 7-4 victory.
