DESCRIPTION:The original Grey Cup was presented to the Amherst Curling Club by Governor General the Earl Grey for the first Maritime Curling Bonspiel in 1907. This is a Maritime Bonspiel is held annually in Amherst and curlers compete to have their names etched on the Grey Cup.

SUMMARY:January Thaw Mixed Bonspiel Jan 7\,8
DESCRIPTION:Two day mixed event with four games guaranteed. Saturday each team gets three six-end games using the point system for scoring. A hot meal is served to all curlers in the mid-afternoon. At the end of the day point scores for the day determine team rankings. Sunday morning all team play in an eight-end play-off game to decide finalists. All curlers get a soup and sandwich lunch. Finals about 1:30 with all competitors receiving prizes.

DESCRIPTION:Curling Canada and its Member Associations are committed to creating educational programs for individuals serving its member curling center’s in the role of Ice Technician. Whether assisting with the daily maintenance or installing ice for major competitions in arenas – Curling Canada has a training program for each of the roles these important individuals play in the sport of curling. We want all participants to have the very best environment and playing conditions wherever they choose to play. \nCurling Canada has two streams for its Ice Technician Training Program – Curling Centre and Competition.
