DESCRIPTION:The Dartmouth Curling Club Learn to Curl Program is a great event to get your introduction to Curling. All you need to bring is clean sneakers and we also recommend the use of helmets as a safety precaution. If you think you can’t master the curling delivery due to physical limitations\, we can introduce you to Stick Curling. \nTIME: 2:30 – 4:00pm Weekly on Tuesdays \nWeek #1 – October 15th \nWeek #2 – October 22nd \nWeek #3 – October 29th \nWeek #4 – November 5th \nWeek #5 – November 12th \nWeek #6 – November 19th Includes Social Gathering and Presentations \nCOST: $150.00 + HST ($172.50) You can e-transfer your registration to dartmouthcurling@eastlink.ca. Please be sure to mention LEARN TO CURL in your e-transfer. \nExtra Details: Each week participants will learn aspects of the game including good stretching habits. Individuals will get to learn each position. The program will wrap up on November 19th with a social gathering! DESCRIPTION:Club Coach Youth is a trains coaches to work with beginners in their clubs. \nClub Coach Youth (CCY) is designed for coaches who become involved at their clubs on a voluntary basis. Participants tend to work with curlers of all ages who are new to the sport\, but most particularly with Little Rock Curlers. Coaches who take this one day (1 day) workshop will become “Club Coach Youth Trained”. This coach will be able to instruct beginning curlers and youth curlers. A CCY instructor will concentrate on the technical skills and leading curlers in activities that are age suitable and technically correct. \nPlease bring your on-ice equipment and a lunch. \nPrerequisite: Participants must be 14 years of age or older on the first day of the workshop. \n***If you are not part of a NS Curling member club you will be contacted to pay an additional $125 fee. \nRegister Here
