DESCRIPTION:Assistant Curling Ice Technician\nWhat is an Assistant Curling Ice Technician?\nAn Assistant Curling Ice Technician (ACIT) is a person who has been trained in the basic duties of Curling\nIce Maintenance\, who works under the guidance of a Certified Curling Ice Technician. An ACIT is often a\nvolunteer or young person – in the past this person has been referred to as a “Rink Rat.”\nLearning Outcomes:\nAt the completion of this one-day workshop the Assistant Curling Ice Technician will be “Trained\nAssistant Curling Ice Technician.”\nAssistant Curling Ice Technicians will be trained in job functions required for daily maintenance of a\ndedicated curling facility.
