DESCRIPTION:2022 Date and Location  \nDigby Curling Club – December 1-5 2022 \nCoaching Requirements \nCoaches are required to have (prior to competition) a current Criminal Record Check\, a current Child Abuse Register\, Making Ethical Decisions (the Locker)\, Safe Sport Training (the Locker) and Competition Coach certification (course and evaluation). \nPractice and Schedule Info\n\nNSC will make every attempt to release the draw schedule roughly two weeks prior to the event. Teams competing in the event should make the appropriate travel & lodging arrangements to ensure they can be at the venue by 8 am on day the event is scheduled to start in case they have the first pre-event practice or first draw of the event. Events leading to a Canadian Championship and requiring a pre-event practice\, this schedule will be released with the completed draw. In the event there is a larger than expected number of teams and the pre-event practices and/or draw cannot be completed in the time allotted for the event\, then the schedule will be extended the necessary day(s) and practices/draw one will commence on the first scheduled day of the event. Information on pre-event and in event practices can be found here closer to the event. \n\nRules\nThis event is governed by NSC’s Competition Rules and Curling Canada’s Rules for Officiated Play. DESCRIPTION:Two day mixed event with four games guaranteed. Saturday each team gets three six-end games using the point system for scoring. A hot meal is served to all curlers in the mid-afternoon. At the end of the day point scores for the day determine team rankings. Sunday morning all team play in an eight-end play-off game to decide finalists. All curlers get a soup and sandwich lunch. Finals about 1:30 with all competitors receiving prizes.

DESCRIPTION:2022 Dates and Locations\n\nProvincial – Liverpool Curling Club – March 9-12\, 2023 \nQualifications \nAll teams who register will qualify directly to the Provincial Championships. \nPractice and Schedule Info\n\nNSC will make every attempt to release the draw schedule roughly two weeks prior to the event. Teams competing in the event should make the appropriate travel & lodging arrangements to ensure they can be at the venue by 8 am on day the event is scheduled to start in case they have the first pre-event practice or first draw of the event. Events leading to a Canadian Championship and requiring a pre-event practice\, this schedule will be released with the completed draw. In the event there is a larger than expected number of teams and the pre-event practices and/or draw cannot be completed in the time allotted for the event\, then the schedule will be extended the necessary day(s) and practices/draw one will commence on the first scheduled day of the event.
