DESCRIPTION:INTRODUCTION:\nThis initial newsletter is to introduce the Nova Scotia Grandmasters Curling Association and provide you with information about the Association. We have been active over the past few months building the Association and making arrangements to host our initial Provincial Championships. \nOUR MISSION STATEMENT:\nThe mission of Nova Scotia Grandmasters Curling Association is to promote curling in Nova Scotia for men and women curlers aged 70 and older. The Association works in conjunction with the Nova Scotia Curling Association to host a Provincial Bonspiel to determine a Nova Scotia Grandmasters Champion for a men’s and a women’s team. \nOUR GRANDMASTER ASSOCIATION:\nThe Association was modeled on the Ontario Grandmasters Association which has hosted Provincial Bonspiel for age 70+ curlers for the past 11 years. The Association has a Constitution and Bylaws\, and is registered under the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies. The initial Executive team is in place.
