DESCRIPTION:An NCCP Comp Coach Course for women looking to take their coaching to the next level. \nNS Curling is excited to be offering an NCCP Competition Coach Clinic offered to Women by Women. Registration is limited and we would like to thank Sport NS and Support for Sport for assisting financially to allow for this discounted registration fee. \nRegistering for this course also gives you free access to the Women’s Coaching Workshop on Nov 16th at CFB Hfx CC! This is a new workshop featuring High Performance female coaches taking a deeper dive into many aspects of coaching. As a coach\, you are required to have Competition Coach (in-training – certified) to be eligible to coach at a number of Provincial events starting at U18 (see Rules on nscurl.com). This is an NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) accredited course. The two days will be spent preparing you to work with a team and how best prepare them for a bonspiel and/or provincials. There is no prerequisite for this course.
