Twenty-six teams will compete in the Nova Scotia under-18 curling championships being held at the Truro Curling Club.
The competition begins Friday and runs through Monday.
The winners will represent Nova Scotia at the national under-18 curling championships in St. Andrew’s, N.B., in April.
Competing in the men’s division are: Adam McEachren and Calan MacIsaac of Truro; Matthew Rushton of Dartmouth; Cameron Stevens and Graeme Weagle of Chester; Evan Sheffield and Ryan Wallace of Glooscap; Nick Mosher of CFB Halifax; Logan Sweeney of Yarmouth; Sebastien LeFort of Sydney; Adam Currie of Lunenburg; Ethan Young, Justin Gray and Ryan Abraham of Mayflower and Ryan Strang of Lakeshore.
Vying for the women’s title are: Emma Patriquin and Ally MacNutt of Truro; Cally Moore of CFB Halifax; Stephanie Carson of Windsor; Kailey Bennett and Clara Mosher of Glooscap; Lily Sanderson of Northumberland; Brianne Batherson, Emma Bedard and Isabelle Ladouceur of Lakeshore and Kaylee Nodding of Bridgewater.
