*The Mixed Doubles and Girls’ events will take place during the same week. Therefore, a female player cannot be on both champion teams. The Boys’ event will be held in a different week, which means a male player may compete in both the Mixed Doubles and Boys’ events.
About the Canada Winter Games
The Canada Games Council has named Québec as the official Host city of the 2027 Canada Winter Games, marking a return to the birthplace of the Canada Games 60 years after the inaugural event held in 1967. From February 27 – March 14, the province of Quebec will host the Canada Games for a fourth time, after previously hosting the 2013 Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, the 1983 Canada Winter Games in Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, and the first-ever Canada Games in Québec in 1967.
For many athletes, the CWG are the initial high point of their curling career and are often a stepping stone towards participating in the Junior Nationals, the Brier and STOH, and Olympic Games.
