Halifax, Nova Scotia, August 28, 2024 –Nova Scotia Curling is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Baldwin as the new Executive Director. Dan brings a wealth of professional and entrepreneurial experience and a passion for amateur sport, making him an excellent choice to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and success.
Dan steps into the role following the exemplary leadership of Virginia Jackson, who has served as Executive Director with dedication and distinction. Virginia’s contributions have been instrumental in promoting and expanding the sport of curling throughout Nova Scotia, and she leaves behind a legacy of achievement that will be felt for years to come.

As Dan takes on the role of Executive Director, he will focus on several key initiatives, including enhancing youth engagement, expanding community outreach programs and services, and leveraging major upcoming events to further increase the visibility and participation in curling across the province.
