The original "GREY CUP" was presented to the Amherst Curling Club by Governor General Earl Grey for the first Maritime Curling Bonspiel in 1907. This bonspiel is now being held annually in Amherst, NS as an open invitational to all Maritime curling clubs in good standing and has a maximum capacity of 24-teams.
This two-day event for mixed teams guarantees four games. The format is three 6-end games per team on the Saturday, with a late afternoon meal included.
