The Nova Scotia Curling Association (NSCA) is pleased to announce that Andrew Paris will be the Technical Director effective January 16, 2017.
Andrew has been a tireless advocate of Junior curling for the past six years and was recognized as the NSCA Volunteer of the Year in 2016. He has been instrumental in the growth of the Dartmouth Curling Club’s Junior Program and continues to seek ways to encourage more youth and adults to experience the game of curling.
“Andrew brings such passion and commitment to our game,” reflects Harry Daemen, President, NSCA, “I am confident that Andrew’s business, coaching and curling background will serve him well in this role.”
As the technical director, Andrew’s role will be to work with member clubs and assist in generating an interest in curling for both youth and adults; ensure coaches have accessibility to training and professional development that will spark our athletes to various podiums; and ensure our high performance athletes have the learning and resources to help them succeed.
